Trekking Office is working to introduce our customers to areas less affected by tourism .The idea is to provide people with an opportunity to fully experience the culture by getting closer to the lives of local people off the beaten trail.

Many of the areas we visit lack basic facilities, there may be a need to help with the construction of a new water supply, bio gas facility, village health or schooling, the needs are endless. We have already explored some new routes recently which we want to develop. We are members of the Village Tourism Group which seeks to see that the majority of money spent by travelers directly benefits the communities visited. We camp along the way, apart from taking some basic food stuff the rest of our provisions will be bought in the village we are staying at. We pay for our camping facilities and also make a contribution to a project the village seeks to develop.
